Sarah is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music Education and an emphasis in Vocal Performance.
Sarah is the director of Choral Studies at Travis Academy of Fine Arts, an academy that provides choral, vocal & instrumental studies, art, drama, ballet, band, orchestra and dance to home schools students in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She has taught private voice and piano for 17 years and has been a public or private school choral director for 12 years. Sarah has a passion for teaching students the joy of music by pursuing excellence that honors God and inspires people.
As a lyric soprano, Sarah has performed professionally with the The American Chamber Choir, and the Fort Worth Opera Chorus. She currently sings and plays the harp or keyboard with the Pantego Bible Church praise band and provides beautiful, soothing music for weddings, and special events.
Sarah's desire is to honor the Lord just as King David did when he wrote:
"My Heart is steadfast, O Lord,
I will sing and make music with all my soul." ~ Psalm 108:1
